klawing river is the largest river in Purbalingga, it split the city into two big parts, one in the west-north and one in the east-south.....Klawing river has many creek just like Tuntunggunung, Gemuruh, Laban, Soso, Gintung, Tambra, Wotan, Muli and many others....actually their size were large also but finally they unite with klawing river...Klawing river flow from it spring at karangjambu district (before karang reja part) and empties at serayu river at congot in Kedungbenda-kemangkon Purbalingga....
some of the fact about klawing river today is....
1. klawing river has kanoeing zone ....in the upstream river just like in bobotsari district, some of the place was recomended for someone who like to do this kind of sports
2. in some places has suspension bridge like in the tangkisan village
3. in some places has archeological sites
4. klawing river have good stone
5.in some places have fishing spot..(just follow the stream of klawing river...from the upstream to the downstream
there some thing disturb in my mind about some thing....just like the sand mining in the klawing river ...this kind a job do near the bridge specially big one...if you see the pasren bridge (klawing river in bukateja) you'll see sand mining below the bridge even the carrier truck go down there....if this happen every time might be that bridge will damage...may be first at the foundation.
other thing is about trash....
if you see below the panican bridge or may be others you will see trash that caught in the bridge truss...every time that trash become increasing....ya dirty river i guess.....off course above the bridge also have trash...specially the rest of fisherman activity....i dont know why after they do fishing they forget to clean it up.
